A New Chapter of Barefoot Luxury
High above the turquoise stretch of Melasti Beach, a new destination is reshaping the idea of coastal luxury in Bali. Lyvin Melasti, opening in stages from June 2025, is a boutique hideaway designed for travelers seeking both tranquility and connection.
Set dramatically on a limestone cliff in Uluwatu, the resort features a collection of 16 private-pool villas and 20 ocean-view suites set to debut in December 2025. The design blends natural textures and contemporary minimalism — green-roof terraces merge with the terrain, floor-to-ceiling windows frame the horizon, and infinity pools blur the line between sea and sky.
Inside, the tone is soothing and sophisticated: marble floors, teak furnishings, and soft neutral palettes create a space that feels both grounding and indulgent. Some villas even include dedicated workspaces, inviting guests to experience the new rhythm of “work from paradise.”
As co-founder Victoria Sokovykh explains, “We designed Lyvin Melasti to feel both grounding and expansive — a space that invites rest, reflection, and reconnection.”
The Essence of Uluwatu Dining
A stay at Lyvin Melasti means having front-row access to one of Bali’s most dynamic culinary neighborhoods. Uluwatu’s restaurant scene continues to evolve, drawing global talent while staying rooted in island authenticity.
MASONRY. Uluwatu
Led by Chef Ben Cross, this modern restaurant celebrates Mediterranean techniques and local produce. Expect house-made charcuterie, wood-fired breads, and a wine list curated for long, easy afternoons.
KALA Uluwatu
Minimalist yet vibrant, KALA pairs coastal Greek–Mediterranean flavors with Balinese warmth. It’s a spot where sunlit lunches roll into sunset cocktails and lively evening energy.
YUKI Uluwatu
Helmed by Chef Yudha Permana, YUKI blends Japanese precision with Balinese ingredients. From wood-fired yakimono to inventive sushi, every dish reflects a harmony of culture and craft.
Osteria Luna Uluwatu
From the creators of YUKI comes this coastal Italian gem. Think handmade pasta, sourdough pizza, and grilled seafood, all served in a lively setting perfect for golden-hour dining.
Atmos Spa: Serenity Between Sky and Sea
When the day slows down, Atmos Spa provides a restorative pause from Bali’s festive rhythm. Treatments here merge Balinese healing rituals with modern wellness techniques — from grounding massages to holistic therapies designed to rebalance body and mind.
It’s a quiet sanctuary where the only sounds are the ocean breeze and the rhythm of your own breathing.

Our Take
In a region celebrated for its resorts, Lyvin Melasti stands out for its restraint and authenticity. It’s less about opulence and more about presence — about finding stillness between cliff, sky, and sea.
Whether you come for the architecture, the view, or the feeling of balance it brings, this is more than a stay. It’s an invitation to pause, breathe, and begin again.
