In a thrilling announcement, Walt Disney World is bringing back a beloved feature that will undoubtedly make your Disney vacations even more magical. Beginning January 9, 2024, visitors holding Disney Park Hopper tickets or Annual Passes can enjoy all-day Park Hopper access. This means the freedom to explore multiple theme parks at any time during park hours, and the best part? No more waiting until 2 p.m. for this enchanting experience.

Disney Park Hopper Tickets

The Return of All-Day Park Hopper Access

Since its return in 2021, Park Hopper access has been a coveted feature, but it’s come with a catch – it was only available after 2 p.m. Well, that’s about to change. With the reintroduction of all-day Park Hopper access, you can decide when it’s time to hop over to another park, allowing for a truly flexible and spontaneous Disney experience.

Seizing the Magic: How It Works

On days when theme park reservations are required, Annual Passholders and certain non-dated ticket holders can take full advantage of this update. For instance, imagine having a reservation at EPCOT and entering the park as early as 9 a.m. to enjoy a couple of your favorite rides. Afterward, you’re free to head to another park whenever it suits your Disney dreams.

Good-to-Go Days for Passholders

But wait, there’s more magic in store for Annual Passholders! In January, “good-to-go days” will debut, adding an extra sprinkle of enchantment. These special days will be periodically updated on the theme park reservation calendar. They will showcase select days when Passholders can visit a Disney World theme park without needing a theme park reservation. Blockout dates will still apply, just as they do today.

Simplifying Disney Trips

Why is Disney making these changes now? Simple – they want to make your Disney World visits even more enjoyable, effortless, and filled with value. Disney understands how much the magic of Disney means to their guests, and they’re continuously working to ensure you can savor every moment of your Disney experience.

Here are a few ways Disney is enhancing your Disney trips:

  • Complimentary self-parking is back for Disney Resort hotel stays.
  • Annual Passholders can visit the parks after 2 p.m. without needing a theme park reservation, except on Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom.
  • Digital downloads of select PhotoPass attraction photos taken in the park on the day of your visit are now included with the purchase of Disney Genie+ service.
  • Parking trams have returned to all four Disney World theme parks.

Looking Ahead

As we step into 2024, get ready for an incredible time to visit Disney World. With the return of all-day Park Hopper access, the removal of theme park reservations for date-based tickets, and the availability of Disney dining plans for Disney Resort hotel guests as part of a package, your Disney dreams are becoming a reality. It’s time to start planning your unforgettable Disney adventure today!

Note: To utilize the Park Hopper benefit, Annual Passholders must make a theme park reservation for their first park visit and enter that park before visiting another. Alternatively, they can enter a theme park without a reservation on a “good-to-go” date for that park or after 2 p.m. (except Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays) before heading to another park. Passes are subject to the Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass Terms and Conditions.
