Fun Things To Do In Orlando Besides Disney world

Free Orlando Activity #1: Visit Lake Eola Park

Enjoy a day in Downtown Orlando ́s beautiful and surprisingly artificial park. Walk the 9-mile path around Lake Elola, which is a sinkhole, and admire the swans, ducks, and birds who call Lake Elola home.

Don’t miss Lake Elola Park first fountain, which was unveiled in 1912 or the Japanese rock garden.

Free Orlando Activity #2 Take a Brewery Tour

The Orlando Brewery, specializing in organic hand-crafted beers. They offer a free tour, at 6 pm from Monday to Saturday. Places are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Find out more on the official Orlando brewery website.

Free Orlando Activity #3: Experience a Piece of Disney

Disney Springs, previously known as Downtown Disney, is free to enter. This entertainment and dining complex has free events throughout the year for anyone and everyone to enjoy. Free Orlando Activity #4: A Day at the Beach

Just one hour drive east from Orlando is Cocoa Beach, a lovely sandy haven for those wanting to escape the city. Alternatively, you can head north and spend the day at the more famous and easier to get to via public transport, Daytona Beach.

The Lakebridge Winery and Vineyards offer a complimentary tour, which includes a wine tasting, 7 days a week. From Monday at 10:15 am until 3:34 pm on Sunday, you can experience the way grapes were meant to be enjoyed and learn more about the sophisticated winemaking process.

ALMOST FREE! – Witness Florida’s Official State Marine Mammal

The manatee has been the state’s official marine mammal since 1975. These large gentle herbivorous creatures are also known as sea cows and live in shallow marshy areas of water. You have a chance of seeing them ($2 per pedestrian and $6 per vehicle ) at Blue Spring State Park, during the winter months.
