A Rock ‘n’ Roll Icon Returns to America

Few symbols capture the essence of rock ‘n’ roll and American pop culture quite like Elvis Presley’s legendary Guitar Car. After decades overseas, this one-of-a-kind, guitar-shaped Cadillac has made its way back to the United States, and fans will soon be able to experience it up close at Dezerland Park Orlando.

The car, a custom creation by famed Hollywood vehicle designer Jay Ohrberg, was originally built in the 1970s as a tribute to the King of Rock and Roll. Its dramatic design — a 41-foot Cadillac shaped like a giant pink guitar — is as bold and unforgettable as Elvis himself. The vehicle was even driven by the superstar before it disappeared overseas, hidden from public view for years.

Now, thanks to the vision and dedication of Dezerland Park founder Michael Dezer, the Elvis Presley Guitar Car has finally come home.

Michael Dezer’s Historic Acquisition

As one of the world’s leading collectors of rare and celebrity vehicles, Michael Dezer has built a reputation for preserving pieces of cultural history. His collection, displayed at the Orlando Auto Museum, already features more than 2,500 iconic vehicles — from James Bond cars and Batmobiles to Fast & Furious stunt cars.

Adding Elvis Presley’s Guitar Car to the collection is not only a significant milestone for Dezerland Park, but also for fans of both classic cars and music history.

“Few cars capture the spirit of American music and culture the way this one does,” Dezer shared. “We are proud to bring this extraordinary piece of Elvis history back to the U.S. and to make it available for fans to see up close.”

Restoration and Future Exhibit

The Guitar Car will first be unveiled to visitors in its current form, before undergoing a complete restoration that guests can watch unfold inside the Orlando Auto Museum. Once fully restored, it will become the highlight of a special new exhibit dedicated to the imaginative creations of Jay Ohrberg.

Ohrberg’s work has long fascinated fans of film and television, with his custom cars appearing in Hollywood productions, pop culture events, and private collections. Dezerland Orlando and Dezerland Las Vegas also showcase another Ohrberg masterpiece — “The American Dream,” officially recognized as the world’s longest limousine.

Dezerland Park: Florida’s Largest Indoor Attraction

While the Elvis Presley Guitar Car will undoubtedly become a star attraction, it’s only one piece of the larger Dezerland Park experience. With over 850,000 square feet of entertainment, Dezerland Park is Florida’s largest indoor attraction. Highlights include:
