Relaxing in Las Vegas
Make your hotel reservations in Las Vegas and get ready for an unforgettable time—that is if you can remember it the next day. Leave amazed after watching the extreme gravity-defying live shows performed by Cirque du Soleil like Zumanity, Beatles Love, or Viva Elvis. From exceptional headliner shows like Barry Manilow or Celine Dion to the mystifying magicians like Criss Angel Las Vegas will entertain you.
Not every Las Vegas show is live. Make your hotel reservations at Luxor and check out shows like Bodies … The Exhibition. This exhibit features 21 whole-body specimens as well as more than 260 organs and partial body specimens. And yes it does feature real human bodies. It’s a study of human anatomy that operates on the principal that “To see is to know.”
Of course such a vivid and intense exhibit isn’t for everyone. If a study of artifacts over anatomy suits you then check out Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition also at Luxor. The 25,000-square-foot exhibit features items that have been excavated from the wreckage of the Titanic. View personal items like luggage, the ship’s whistles, floor tiles from the first-class smoking room, a window frame from the Verandah Café and an unopened bottle of champagne with a 1900 vintage. There are also recreations of several of the ship’s rooms
If your hotel reservations are at MGM Grand (and even if your hotel reservations are somewhere else) you can check out CSI: The Experience. This attraction let’s you be the crime scene investigator by giving you a hands-on experience solving a murder mystery. There are 3 murders and 15 suspects so it won’t be easy to figure out. You’ll get to pick the murder mystery you want to solve, look at evidence photos, analyze DNA and try to figure out bizarre clues along the way.
Mandalay Bay offers an exhibit with a little bite. Shark Reef will put you up close to more than 2,000 animals in a 14-exhibit journey through a jungle environment into a sunken shipwreck. Visitors will get a chance to see animals that range from beautiful to those considered dangerous in the wild like the Komodo Dragon, crocodiles and piranha.
Most of the bigger attractions like these are not free; however, check with your hotel as many hotels will offer free or discounted tickets with your hotel reservations.
But some people like a little more excitement with their fun. There are plenty of places to get some edge-of-your seat thrills. Amusement rides like Insanity-The Ride, X-Scream and Big Shot at Stratosphere will get your heart pumping. The rollercoaster at New York, New York will get your head spinning. And the Rim Runner at Circus Circus will leave you all wet.
Of course there are numerous casinos for those wanting to place a few wagers. Most of the casinos are within walking distance of each other or else have trams that connect them. However, it’s also nice to find a casino that has the most attractions to suit your liking and make your hotel reservations there.
After a day of gambling and strolling through various exhibits, if you aren’t in for a live show Las Vegas offers some of the best nightclubs in the nation like Studio 54 at MGM Grand, JET at Mirage, Ghostbar at the Palm, or the Bank at Bellagio. You can make hotel reservations at a casino that houses your favorite nightclub and dance the night away or just start out at one and try to visit them all. With so many nightclubs to choose from you are sure to find one with a theme to fit your mood.
Las Vegas can be fun, flirty, exciting, thrilling or sexy. With so much offered the best part is you get to choose what kind of Las Vegas experience you want. With so many moods to Las Vegas every trip is like the first time.
