Just in time for the summer travel season, the Comfort Inn and Comfort Suites brands have introduced a completely new breakfast for guests to enjoy. The new Your Morning™ Breakfast at Comfort Inn and Comfort Suites hotels now features a number of both nutritious and delicious additions, helping to provide summer travelers with more choices to start their day out on the road.
The highlight of the new breakfast is a flavored waffle station, something guests won’t likely see at other hotel brands yet. Comfort brand properties now feature a waffle station that serves traditional waffles plus a flavored waffle option, with new flavors including blueberry, chocolate chip, cinnamon, strawberry, spice, and whole grain.
Don’t have time for a waffle? Comfort Suites also now features a convenient Your Suite Success™ Grab It & Go breakfast bag for guests who are in a rush. The new Grab It & Go bag will be available for two hours before regular breakfast service times and will include the items needed for guests in a hurry to get their day started, including a granola or breakfast bar, bottled water, a whole fresh fruit item such as an apple, banana or orange, a napkin and a mint.
The Your Morning Breakfast also adds hot and healthy items that dramatically improve the menu selections available to guests. To add a little sizzle, the breakfast menu includes delicious hot eggs and meats. For guests desiring more health conscious options, the Your Morning Breakfast program also provides a wide variety of fresh fruits and yogurt in order to power through the day.
The new breakfast program comes as a result of extensive planning and research into improving guest services that began in 2009 and sought input from current guests, potential guests, and hotel franchisees as part of an effort to constantly adapt and increase guest satisfaction for the brands. The program was officially rolled out to the traveling public just last month and the positive guest response has been overwhelming so far.
“Consumers that we surveyed when designing the new program told us that the new breakfast greatly improved their satisfaction with breakfast at Comfort Inn and Comfort Suites hotels,” said Christina Williamson, senior director of brand planning and management for the Comfort family of brands by Choice Hotels. “The response has been even better than we could have imagined, with overall guest satisfaction scores for breakfast at both Comfort Inn and Comfort Suites hotels increasing dramatically last month.”
The announcement of the new Your Morning Breakfast program comes just weeks after the company nationally unveiled an entirely new design for both brands, boasting more luxurious materials, modern finishes and welcoming features reminiscent of home. Consumers will start to see the new design in Comfort Inn and Comfort Suites hotels in 2012.
